SO!

I couldn’t decide on only one Daddy Long Legs design so I designed… three in total. I’ll flesh something out later.

I was already familiar with good ol’ crane flies and harvest men but cellar spiders (Pholcidae) were new to me! So I had to look it up and to my delight I learned that they have a cephalothorax that looks like a human skull which provided some inspiration.

The crane fly-based fellow is quite mild-mannered and rather fragile.

The harvestman … is entirely vague, but he seems laidback.

The cellar spider guy however … he seems positively predatory/murderous. Also I gave him a bowler hat since the tophat motif had gotten a bit redundant.

SO YEAH.

Love your comic, and I love these guys. So hug-worthy. Poor Crane Fly doesn't seem to get much love in the comic, though. :c

They do remind me of storybook characters, though. That would be the best storybook.
